What should I wear?
We want you to feel and look your best, which means the answer to this question is different for everyone. Colorful attire is very much encouraged, while white, black, or gray are not preferred—it is a festive occasion! Use this as an opportunity to wear something fabulous that puts you in a dancing and celebratory mood (bonus points if it's floral or sparkly). Please keep in mind that early June weather in Montana is unpredictable, so we recommend layers that will have you ready for both cold and warm temperatures (we will also provide blankets, warm fires, etc.).
Do I need to bring anything?
Your presence is more than enough! Simply put, we have plenty of "stuff," so we are not doing a traditional wedding registry. We will deeply cherish any sentimental gifts, but please do not feel pressured to bring anything otherwise. As an alternative, we will have a Honeymoon Fund available where you can gift us an activity to do on our honeymoon—ranging from champagne on the beach to snorkeling with sharks! At the wedding, we will have a basket available for anyone who brings a card.
Can I bring my children or pets?
This wedding is for guests 18+. Try to enjoy an evening away from the kiddos! While we love your furry friends too, our venue is not prepared to accommodate pets, so we request that you leave them at home as well. Trust me, we wish we could have Merlin and Mako there with us (they probably wouldn't enjoy it...).
Can I bring a date?
If you are in a serious partnership and/or we have met your significant other, then it is safe to assume you both are invited (your Save the Date is most likely addressed to both of you). There may be some exceptions to this rule, but our goal is to keep the guest list intimate. Please do not bring a last-minute date without speaking with us!
What kind of food and drinks can I expect?
We will do our best to provide a variety of fresh foods to meet different dietary needs and keep you energized all day long. You will have an opportunity to specify your preferences during the RSVP process in March (see below). In sum, there will be plenty of snacks, hearty meals, and desserts. This wedding will have an open bar, meaning you will have free access to alcoholic beverages in addition to classic non-alcoholic refreshments. Espresso will also be available in the evening ☕
How do I RSVP?
When you receive your formal invitation in March 2026, instructions to RSVP will be included (hint: you'll do it here on our website!).
Will I be indoors or outdoors?
The venue is an open concept; weather permitting, doors will be open to nature for guests to roam the property as they wish. The only time we will ask you to be outside is for the ceremony, but outdoors is also where you will find the lawn games—and the beautiful wildlife. Dinner seating will be indoors, and the dance floor is a covered patio attached to the main building.
